Meet Our Pastor
Before becoming the Pastor of Renewed Faith Ministries, Pastor Watkins was blessed to serve for four years as the assistant pastor under Overseer Beatrice Marion and Pastor Craig Pender of Temple of Miracles and Deliverance Center. Pastor Watkins is an affiliate pastor with Kingdom Life Fellowship International where Archbishop Harris E. Clark is the presiding Bishop. God blessed Pastor Watkins to serve as the youth director under Pastor Althea Marion for over four years where many youth were lead to salvation. She accepted the Lord into her life at the tender age of 12 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in child and family studies from Lander University.
Pastor Watkins is a chaplin and has also been recognized by the United Way of Anderson County as the 2010 Leadership Next Fellow. She was recognized by those in the community as being an outstanding leader in the community of Anderson and graduated from this class in February 2011. She continues to work with the United Way in order to make a change her community.
Because of the many trials She endured as a child and a teenager, She knew that God had called her to serve his people from all walks and facets of life. Pastor Watkins completed her Masters of Divinity studies from Trinity School of Apologetics and Theological Seminary. She worked for over 7 years with a local teen pregnancy prevention organization called IMPACT! as the Program Director for Anderson County. She worked with state agencies, local agencies, churches and schools in order to reduce teen pregnancy in South Carolina.
The Lord has blessed Pastor Watkins to write a book entitled the Sexual Abuse of Youth within the Church. Many have commented on how God has brought divine healing to them after reading this book. Her new book for singles is to be launched in the Winter of 2011/2012.
God uses Pastor Watkins to flow in the prophetic and deliverance ministry at Renewed Faith Ministries and as she travels abroad. This plays a crucial part when it comes to bringing healing and deliverance to those in need of God’s unfailing love. She loves the Lord with all her heart and it is manifest in her love for the people.
